Overview
Overview
Educational opportunities are one of the few ways where the kids in Uganda can break their cycle of poverty and prepare for a brighter future. The Teaching Volunteer Program aims to develop exactly these possibilities. Focusing on English language classes, international cultural exchanges, and education murals, the project is aimed at a wider audience including villagers and local women folks. Volunteer teachers looking for international work experience in teaching or have a knack for it can opt for this project. They will be placed in schools in the area where they will be expected to assist the existing teachers and also take individual classes. English, general awareness, science, and Maths will be the main subjects for teaching.
