Overview

The Teaching Volunteer Program in China, Beijing is dedicated to children from poor immigrant families working in the city. The placement is a primary school that has limited resources and depends a lot on skilled volunteers for support. Due to limited resources, the school authorities cannot afford to employ good English speaking teachers. Volunteers play a key role here by teaching English to the kids in the school.

The children in the school are taught English, Chinese, Mathematics, Physical Education and other activities. Volunteering as an English teacher in China - Beijing will give you a whole new perspective of this incredible country. Volunteers working in the Teaching Program do not need to be a qualified teacher, and should only have the desire to help and make a difference to the project.
