Staff Profiles
Executive Director
Saurabh has lived all is life in Delhi in India. He has travelled extensively around Australia, South East Asia, Africa, UK and has also been to US and Canada. After studying abroad for over 6 years he came to India and is actively involved with Ngo's in India, after which he got the idea to start the company in 2006 and since then he plays a major role in the working of the company. He is also responsible for visiting program coordinators around the world and visiting projects to make sure volunteers are happy on their trip.
Operations Head
Sahil was born in Delhi and graduated from Delhi University with a Bachelor in Commerce (Hons). After graduating, he worked with Fluor Daniel India after which he joined Volunteering Solutions in 2008 .He is also currently pursuing his Masters in Business Administration.
Sahil coordinates all the volunteer placements around the world, supervises the volunteer preparation and is also responsible for monitoring the projects around the world. He spends most of his time working in tandem with the project partners and staff all across the world to provide quality volunteer placements to our volunteers. He has himself travelled across different program countries and is happy to answer any questions that volunteers have.
Senior Web Developer
Mukesh Dhiman has been working with Volunteering Solutions since May 2008. He has done Masters in Computer Application from Delhi and is responsible for Programing and upkeep of our website. Mukesh works along with a team of two other programming and designing staff at the office.
Country Director – Kenya
Joe has been working with Volunteering Solutions since the company was established in 2007. He holds a Masters in International Economic Law from University of Warwick , United Kingdom.
He coordinates all the arrangements for the volunteers in Kenya to ensure their safe and comfortable stay. He holds a considerable personal volunteering experience in both Kenya and UK. He loves travelling to different parts of Africa, playing tennis and swimming.
Country Director – India
Rajiv is a post graduate in English and a former lecturer in University. He has been working with International Volunteers for over 4 years now. He has vast experience and knowledge of working with over 800 volunteers in India. He has also travelled to US, UK and Canada and he understands the western culture very well. He has vast knowledge of Indian culture, history and his city Delhi. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you with your stay in Delhi.
Assistant Coordinator – Delhi Program
Dheeraj was born in Delhi and is well verse with the different parts of it. He is mainly responsible for the administration jobs, airport pickups and city tours.
Program Coordinator - Palampur
Padam has been living in Palampur since birth. He is well verse with the Palampur and area around. He has been working with Volunteering Solutions since late 2007. He looks forward to meeting you and making your stay in Palampur a memorable one.
Outside work, he loves to go on weekend trips and trekking along with the volunteers and spending time with his kids.
Asst Program Coordinator – Palampur
Amit has been working with Volunteering Solutions since late 2007.He is also a physical therapist by profession and an active social worker from last five years. Amit is in charge of all the volunteer administration in Palampur.
Program Coordinator – Bangalore - India
Mr. Dwarakanath hails from Bangalore, Karnataka in south India. He possesses extensive experience working with international volunteers and coordinating volunteer abroad programs. He has been coordinating the programs in Bangalore since 2007.
Country Director – Nepal
Uma is a resident of Kathmandu and has been the Country Director of Nepal Programs since 2007. She is also responsible for the management and running of the operations of orphanage supported by Volunteering Solutions in Nepal.
Country Director – Ghana
Fred was born in 1979 in Kumasi in the Ashanti region but grew up in Tamale, in the northern region where he completed his primary education. After completing his college education from Prempeh college in Kumasi, he graduated in National Diploma in Accounting. Fred is very popular among the volunteers and is actively involved in executing different projects for the benefit of Ghanaian community. Besides English, he speaks three local Ghanaian languages very fluently.
Fred believes volunteering should make a change in the lives of people who really need help and also makes a great impact of the development of deprived communities. He has been working with Volunteering Solutions since 2008.
Program Coordinator – Chiang Mai
Fai is a Chiang Mai native. She graduated from Chiang Mai University with a degree in Psychology in 2006. She is very friendly and loves talking with people.
Program Coordinator - Malawi
Vincent is a young Malawian who believes in making a difference. He has good writing skills and has also been coordinator for local youth groups. He has been working as a Coordinator for Volunteering Solutions Malawi programs since 2009.
Program Coordinator – Cambodia
Raksmey is 27 years old and has done a course in tourism and hospitality management from Build Bright University, Cambodia. His hobbies include Reading Jogging and Travelling. He has worked as a teacher in different schools and also as a executive in different travel companies.

Program Coordinator - Peru
Jenny is a native of Cusco and has also lived in Arequipa. She has over 6 years of experience dealing with international volunteers in Peru. Jenny has been working with Volunteering Solutions since 2008 and has hosted many happy volunteers for us.
Program Coordinator - Honduras
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A mastering in the EPFS to be an English teacher in Honduras. Manueal has over 12 years of experience in delaing with international volunteers in Honduras and also providing great Spanish classes to all volunteers.
Program Manager- EcuadorBorn in 1974 and raised in a Swedish working class family. He has always loved to work with his hands and travel to see different countries and cultures. His traveling brought him to Ecuador, this esmerald of countries the first time to see the Galapagos Islands and 3 weeks of backpacking wherever the nose pointed. After meeting Patricia during that trip he ended up selling everything he owned back home to move here for life.
His biggest interests in life are traveling, history, culture, nature, photography but most of all a mix of them together. He has now been working with international volunteers for over 6 years.
Program Manager- Costa RicaMarco offers more than sixteen years of experience as a professor of Spanish as a Second Language. Through his professional work he has conducted various Educational workshops in Costa Rica. He received a BA in Tourism with an emphasis in Community Tourism and Development Projects from Universidad Panamericana de Costa Rica, a certification in Human Resource Administration from the National Institute for Learning (INA), studied Language and Culture Facilitation through Peace Corps Costa Rica and is currently getting a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language at Iberoamerican Universitarian Foundation (FUNIBER). Marco is dedicated to providing exemplary service to every student and participant.
