Our Executive Director - Saurabh would be travelling to Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica for over 3 weeks to check on our programs and meet volunteers while travelling. The aim of this trip is to meet local coordinators and staff and to ensure we continue to provide affordable and quality programs in these countries. The trip will also allow us to further expand our programs in Ecuador and Costa Rica. He will be working to creating new placements and meeting host families in all the countries. We will start posting fresh photos of our programs in these countries soon on our FaceBook Group as well as our Photos Section on the website.
UK Website Launch
Volunteering Solutions launches http://www.volunteeringsolutions.co.uk A domain for UK/EU customers. Volunteers can now view and pay in GBP making life a lot easier. Our Volunteer Abroad prices start at only GBP125 only!

Volunteering Solutions announces the launch of its new and updated website. The new website was designed after gathering feedback from over 500 volunteers during 2008-2009. The new website features include:
- More detailed information on all projects and locations
- New Group Volunteer Programs, New Summer Volunteer 2010 Programs, new section for Teen Volunteer Programs
- New Summer Palampur 2010 program launched for 2010 - starts 28th June 2010 for 3 weeks
- Completely New Resources Section which contains, things like - Flight Bookings, Details of Visas, Insurance, Facebook etc.
- All bookings prior to this day would be charged at the previous rates.

THAILAND/ CAMBODIA VISIT
VS Executive Director is visiting the projects in Thailand and Cambodia during October 2009. While on the trip he plans to start new programs in Thailand - Bangkok and surrounding areas. Saurabh will meet new coordinator and visit project location in Thailand along with visiting volunteers home and host families in the city.
Cambodia visit is manily to visit the staff and partners in Phnom Penh and to visit all program location and placements in the city. He is also personaly visiting all host families and spending time with them to make sure that volunteers are happy in the host families. He is also gathering vital local information which would help us to make you more prepared for your trip to Cambodia.

KENYA / TANZANIA VISIT
VS Executive Director and Operartions Lead are currently in Kenya and Tanzania. They are there to meet the local staff, bring out ways to make changes and improve the program based on volunteer feedback. They would be spending over 10 days visiting projects and host families in both countries as part of the Annual visit done by our employees.

The winner of $60 for the Volunteering Solutions Photo Competetion on FaceBook Group iin August is Jesse Weller. Jesse spent 8 weeks in the Teaching English to Monks program in Chiang Mai Thailand.
