Volunteer Teaching English Program in Honduras
La Ceiba has emerged as a popular tourist destination for English speaking tourists from North America and Europe. English is a prerequisite for all people looking to make a career in the tourism industry. Our volunteer program in Honduras offers opportunities for international volunteers to teach English to children and young people attending primary and secondary schools in La Ceiba and its surrounding areas. These areas are very poor, and the schools lack native English-speaking volunteers. In this program, volunteers will help children learn the correct use of English words and improve the vocabulary.
Volunteers can develop their own lessons and assist the local teachers in their work. You can bring with you essential volunteer supplies such as books, teaching tools etc which will help you in your work.
A typical volunteer in this program works for around 5 hrs in a day with weekends off.
