Honduras is the second biggest country in Central America. The country is bordered by Guatemala to the northwest, El Salvador to the south and Nicaragua to the southeast. It is also home to the Mayan Civilization, with presence around the city of Copan in Western Honduras. Honduras is famous for its ancient Mayan ruins, Pacific and Caribbean coastline and Bay Island with spectacular beaches and coral reefs for diving and snorkeling. The major cities in Honduras are Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba.

Our Volunteering Programs are situated in La Ceiba, the third largest city of the country yet with small town warmth. It is located on the North Coast of Honduras and offers some great beaches.
